FEATURED PETS

These are favorite picks of our staff.  They often include animals that have been with us for awhile, may have been overlooked, and for whatever reason need spotlighting to make sure that they have an opportunity to get a loving forever home.  There may have been special circumstances, obstacles, or health challenges that delayed their eligibility for adoption.  Or they may simply be too laid back to attract attention as the public browses through our kennels.

Animal ID: 27646182
Age: 2 years
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Hey, who wants to play!? My name is Dandelion, and I was brought to the shelter by a good samaritan who found me wandering and thought someone might be looking for me. Unfortunately I didn’t have a microchip for identification. Well that was nearly a year ago, and no one ever came to get me.

Oh well…the good news is that here at the humane society I’m well cared for. I get plenty of food and water, regular playtimes with the volunteers and employees, and I don’t have to fend for myself. Even so, I’ve been here awhile now and really want a loving forever home of my own with lots of rooms to explore, moving objects to stalk, and someone to cuddle with.

If you adopt me, they’ll take care of my spay and all my vaccinations. Please come see me and all my feline and canine friends at the shelter! Tell ‘em Dandelion sent you. We’ll be waiting.

Purringly yours,

Please note:  The pets pictured here were available for adoption at the time of posting.  We make every effort to keep them updated, but animals are adopted on a first-come, first-served basis and we cannot guarantee the availability of all animals pictured.  However TTCHS always has a great selection of pets, and we’re sure if you visit our facility that you’ll find the perfect one for you!
